We are pleased that you are visiting our website.

We live by our motto "Data protection is a matter of trust". With us, your data is in good hands. We only process your data for the purposes stated by us or if the relevant laws require us to process data. The following data protection information covers the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Here you will find information about the collection and use of personal data when using our website, conducting video conferences and providing our services.

Our range of services and information is aimed at private and non-private persons (companies / associations / clubs / public bodies / freelancers).

Under no circumstances will we sell your data or pass it on to third parties. We will be happy to provide you with detailed information below about how we handle your data. If you have any comments or questions about data protection, you can send an email to info@luxurychrono.de. We are HAPPY to help you.

The use of the contact details in our imprint for commercial advertising is expressly undesirable unless we have previously given our written consent or a business relationship already exists.

We expressly point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) is subject to security gaps and cannot be completely protected against access by third parties.

1) Use of the Internet offer

Access data/server log files

Our web space provider collects data about every access to the offer (so-called server log files) for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the offer. The access data includes:

  • Name of the website accessed
  • Date and time of the server request
  • Browser type and version
  • operating system used
  • IP address and the requesting provider
  • Referrer URL (Internet address of the previously visited page)
  • Name of the retrieved file and amount of data transferred
  • Message whether the retrieval was successful

We reserve the right to subsequently review the log data if there is reasonable suspicion of illegal use based on concrete evidence. This data will not be merged with other data sources.
The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, which permits the processing of data to protect our own legitimate interests (error-free operation of the website). To this end, we have ensured in advance that our legitimate interests do not take precedence over the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

SSL encryption

To protect the security of your personal data during transmission, we use SSL encryption (Secure Socket Layer).

We only collect, process and use personal data to the extent that this is necessary for the stated purpose (processing your inquiry or executing a contract). If your personal data is still not required to fulfil a legal obligation, it will be deleted within a 2-year period (subject to applicable tax and commercial law retention periods). Cookies

Cookies are small text files that allow specific, device-related information to be stored on the user's access device. On the one hand, they make websites more user-friendly and therefore more user-friendly (e.g. storing login data). On the other hand, they are used to collect statistical data on website usage and to analyze it in order to improve the service. Basically, a distinction is made between two different types of cookies, so-called session cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser, and cookies that are stored on your device until you delete them. Users can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option that can be used to restrict or completely prevent cookies from being stored. However, we would like to point out that our website and service will only function to a limited extent if you prevent the use of cookies.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you require (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f of GDPR. Google Web Fonts

This website uses so-called web fonts provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”) for the uniform display of fonts. When you visit a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google’s servers. This allows Google to know that our website was accessed via your IP address. Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offerings. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f of GDPR. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

In cases where personal data is transferred to Google LLC in the USA, Google has certified itself to the US-European data protection agreement “Privacy Shield”, which guarantees compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU.

2) Virtual meetings (video conference)

To virtualize information and project discussions, we organize web conferences in which the participants' voices are transmitted to all other participants via microphone and, if necessary, their images via webcam (hereinafter referred to as "video conferences").

We use service providers who provide “luxurychrono” with their software and, if applicable, their technology (hereinafter: video conferencing systems). We have agreed on order processing with these service providers in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Processing of data in the context of video conferences:

In order to use “video conferences” we have to process various types of data. The total volume of data processed in the context of video conferences depends on the range of functions of the video conference system provided by the video conference service provider and which data the respective user provides before, during and after participating in a “video conference”.

The following personal data may in principle be subject to processing for the purpose of conducting video conferences:

  • Information about the user himself: e.g. display name, online status (optional), status messages, profile picture (optional), email address if applicable, preferred language.
  • Meeting metadata: e.g. date, time, duration, meeting ID, telephone number (if applicable) and location.

Text, audio, video and other multimedia data: For the display of video signals and the playback of audio signals and multimedia files, data from the microphone, a webcam/video camera or a screen display on your device (using the screen/content sharing function) is processed during the meeting. The latter is necessary, for example, if we transfer the moderation rights to you in order to visualize your screen contents (documents/presentations/drafts).

Data transmission from the camera and microphone can be switched on and off at any time and by any user. The screen/content sharing function must be actively activated by the user and can also be stopped at any time.

In a video conference, you also have the option of using a chat function in parallel. In this respect, the text entries you make, the sharing of links or content, social interactions (such as emoticons, pictograms, like buttons for comments or the sending of so-called GIFs - Graphics Interchange Format) are processed in order to display them to the participants in "video conferences".

Legal basis for data processing

The personal data is collected, processed and used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Conducting information meetings based on pre-contractual exchange.

Storage of data

There is no recording of “video conferences”. If a recording is planned, “luxurychrono” will communicate this transparently and – if necessary – obtain the consent of all participants.

Automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR is not used.

Recipient of the data

Personal data processed in connection with participation in “video conferences” is generally only passed on to our processors, i.e. the service providers who support us in conducting the video conferences.

Apart from this, data will only be passed on to third parties if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. by court order).

Data processing outside the European Union

To the best of our ability, “luxurychrono” has limited the storage location to data centers in the European Union. Therefore, data processing generally does not take place outside the European Union (EU).

3) Basics
